It offers discounts on transportation, museums, but also deals on cafes, and even some restaurants! It’s the easiest way to save money while exploring the city or enjoying some leisure time.

One of the best ways to save money on rent is by living in student dorms. Personally, I love living in one! I’ve met incredible people while cooking my meals in the shared kitchen, studying late at night in the study room, or simply relaxing in the common areas.
The best part? You have all the utilities in just one place and usually dorms are in convenient locations, making it easy to get around the city.
GROCERY SHOPPING: STOCK UP SMART
Grocery shopping in Czechia can be really affordable if you shop smart! Stores like Lidl, Albert and Billa offer good prices. If you have their card you can benefit from the daily discounts.
A smart tip: Plan your meals for the week and buy in bulk where possible, by doing this, you won’t buy unnecessary food and you would eat well on a student budget. :)
